The Federal Government has announced the released of the 2025 Common Entrance Examination into the 80 Unity Schools across the country.

A total of 64,578 Candidates registered for 2025 NCEE, 61,290 candidates sat for the examination while 3,288 were absent.
Prof Suwaiba Ahmad, the Minister of State for Education while presenting the Major highlights of the Examination to Newsmen in Abuja on Wednesday said the highly competitive examination which is administered every year to Nigerian children both at home and abroad who desire to gain admission into eighty (80) Federal Unity Colleges (FUCs) spread across all parts of the country.
She therefore, directed the Senior Secondary Education Department should ensure that all admission processes are concluded timely and in line with the approved criteria.
The Minister described the Examination as a cord of strengthen and unity in Nigeria with the motto “Pro Unitate adding that, Federal Unity Colleges have become the first port of call for most parents in the country.
