Biodun Oyebanji, Governor of Ekiti state has formally declared his intention to run for a second term in office. The governor made his intention known during a meeting with the Central Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the party’s secretariat in Ado-Ekiti.
Oyebanji emphasized that his intention to seek a second term in office is influenced by the numerous endorsements he has received n the last one year and promised not to relent in his efforts to ensure the welfare of residents.
He wants residents to participate in the continuous Voters registration in order to improve on the number of votes for president Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In his welcome address, the Chairman of the Party in Ekiti State, Sola Elesin commended Governor Oyebanji for his efforts in turning around the fortunes of Ekiti State and returning the party to the grassroot.
