12 People Died In Yobe Road Accident

Twelve persons, comprising ten male and one female adult as well as one female child lost their lives in a road Crash on Tuesday night along Baimari- Geidam road in Yobe state Livinus Yilzoom.

The sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps confirmed the incident in Damaturu the Yobe state capital.

According to Mr Yilzoom preliminary investigation reveals road obstruction by a stationary truck as the immediate cause.

The crash which occurred at 10 pm involved a Howo truck belonging to a construction company and a Sharon Bus which ran into the truck and caught fire burning the 12 occupant beyond recognition.
