The University of Lagos has been ranked by the 2022 Times Higher Education World University ranking as 2nd in Nigeria and 501-600 out of over 1,600 institutions across the world.
According to the report released on Thursday, September 2, 2021 shows the study came out based on 13 carefully calibrated performance indicators measuring institutions performance across four areas which revolve around teaching, research, knowledge and International Outlook.
Based on this new ranking, the University has made tremendous progress from range of 601-800 to higher range of 501-600 showing the institution of first choice, the nation’s pride is not relenting in hardwork to remain a global leader in educational ranking.
The elated Vice Chancellor, Professor Toyin Ogundipe received the news with great joy and appreciated Staff, students, alumni and friends for the various contributions to ensure the University continues to be a leader in all ramifications.
