Joe Biden has been sworn-in as the 46th President of the United States of America.

His running mate in the US presidential election of November 3, 2020, Kamala Harris was also sworn-in as Vice President.

He was sworn in as the 46th US president at the US Capitol in Washington and his Vice-president,Kamala Harris who became the first woman to hold that position.
Democratic Senator Amy Klobuchar says in a welcome speech: “This is the day our democracy picks itself up”.
Also,Lady Gaga sang the US national anthem, and Jennifer Lopez performed with the US Marines Band.
Guests at the swearing include former president Barack Obama and Michelle Obama, George Bush and Laura Bush, and Bill and Hillary Clinton.
Donald Trump,former President didnt attend the inauguration but his deputy Mike Pence attended.
Over 25,000 troops guarded the inauguration ceremony after a deadly riot at the Capitol earlier this month.
Donald and Melania Trump have left the White House for the last time, aboard the Marine One helicopter.
The outgoing president spoke at a military send-off at Joint Base Andrews before flying to his resort in Florida
In the final hours of his presidency, Trump pardoned 73 people, including his former adviser Steve Bannon.
