Oluremi Tinubu, Nigeria First Lady has appealed to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for assistance in the area of promoting formal education among the children, As part of her ongoing efforts to address the challenge of Out-of-school children by pushing the reform of Almajiri school system.

She made the appeal during an audience with Yousef Bin Muhammed Albalawi, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Nigeria, who was in her office on a familarity visit.
The First Lady notes that to secure the future of Nigeria, it is crucial to reform the current Almajiri School system, which exposes the children to hunger and exploitation.
The Saudi envoy began his tour of duty in Nigeria about five months ago, hoping to deepen existing bilateral relations between the two oil producing countries.
