Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State will tomorrow, Friday October 13, 2023, swear in Commissioners-designate and Special Advisers.

According to a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, indicated that the event will take place at the Executive Council Chamber, Governor’s Office, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, by 11 in the morning.

He said that guests are to be seated by 10:45am.

Recall that Abiodun had previously submitted the names of his commissioner nominees to the Ogun State House of Assembly for screening and approval.

Following the screening, the Assembly affirmed the nominees as suitable for their roles in Abiodun’s cabinet during his second term in office.

The governor will administer the oath of office to more than 20 Commissioner-designates on Friday, most of whom had served in Abiodun’s first-term cabinet.
