The Abuja Distribution Electricity Company, AEDC, has issued out strong warning to customers that are owing, and also promised to disconnect them if they fail to pay up within 72hours.
AEDC issued out this ultimatum to its customers through the statement signed by Victor Ojelabi, the managing director.
However, Ojelabi communicated that paying of electricity bills is highly important for effective operation of power infrastructure, basically to deliver solid services to the community.
On the issue of deadline, he said, “Customers who are yet to settle their outstanding bills within the next 72 hours will face disconnection of their electricity supply.”
