The All Progressive Congress APC chapter in Ondo State has expressed grief over the death of a senior journalist with Nigeria Pilot newspaper, Albert Ojo.

It was learnt that Mr Ojo died on Wednesday at an Akure hospital during a brief illness.
Stating that the news of his death was shocking, Ondo APC described the deceased as a highly principled, hardworking, and resourceful journalist.
According to a statement made available Sparklight News by Alex Kalejaye, Ondo APC Publicity Secretary, the deceased exhibited dedication and commitment to developmental journalism.
“The Ondo State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) mourns the demise of such a highly principled, hardworking, and resourceful journalist at a time the State is preparing for governorship election.
“The party noted that the deceased plied the noble pen profession with passion and integrity for decades. He exhibited dedication and commitment to developmental journalism.
“Ondo APC urged his colleagues to take solace in the transparent and enviable life he led, noting that good name endures through ages.
“The chapter commiserated with members of his immediate family, the Ire Community in Ekiti State, and Nigeria Union of Journalists, in Ondo State. May God grant him eternal rest,” the statement reads.
