Alhaji Bashir Tofa,a former Presidential candidate in 1993 with the late M.K.O Abiola is dead.
He died at the age 74 years.
The Presidential Candidate of the defunct National Republican Convention and a major challenger of MKO Abiola’s in the June 12, 1993, presidential election which was later annulled by the military government of General Ibrahim Babangida.
It was learnt that Alhaji Tofa died in the early hours of Monday after a protracted illness.
