Multichoice Nigeria has announced N100 million as the top reward for the 2024 series of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), a reality television show.
Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice, has confirmed that the show will launch on Sunday, July 28.
Tejumola stated that the show will launch on all Africa Magic channels at 7 p.m. WAT.
According to the organizers, the show’s winner would receive a grand prize of N100 million and a brand new SUV automobile after 71 days.
“After 71 days of game playing, on the 6th of October, 2024, a grand total of N100 million worth of cash and a brand new SUV will be won,” she said.
“Our grand prize this year is worth N100 million.”
The N100 million is N20 million less than the winning prize for the 2023 edition.In October 2023, Ilebaye Odiniya won the 8th season of all-stars, earning N120 million as the top prize.
Auditions for the ninth season opened on March 27 and closed on May 4.
BBNaija organizers promise “double drama, relationships, and huge competition” in this year’s season.
“With new twists and unknown housemates ready to become your new faves, this season promises to be one for the books,” they added.
“Expect shocking twists, explosive drama, and alliances that will keep you guessing.”
