Borno state independent electoral commission has commenced the distribution of sensitive and non sensitive materials to the twenty seven local government areas of the state ahead of December 13th local government election.
Dr. Tahiru Shettima, Chairman of the commission says the Commission is fully prepared for the chairmanship and councillorship election with measures in place to ensure no eligible voter is left out even in hard to reach areas, urging political parties to abide by the electoral guidelines and calling on voters to turn out in large numbers to exercise their civic duty.
