Court Remands Man For Killing Eight Persons In Mushin

An Ogba Chief Magistrates’ Court has remanded a 44-year-old, serial killer, Wasiu Akinwande, alias Olori Esho for allegedly killing eight persons and causing permanent disability to a woman.

The 11-count charge against the defendant bordered on conspiracy, possession of firearm, poisonous dagar, murder, attempted murder, grievous bodily harm, threat to life, possession of international passports, and possession of other dangerous arms, preferred against him by the Police.

The prosecutor said the defendant was found with 13 international passports with valid visas and some belonging to foreign nationals. He also told the court that there are other gang members yet to be arrested.

He listed some of the evidences recovered from the defendant before the court to include nine AK47, two pump action and two pistols.

The prosecutor told the court that the defendant and others at large committed the offences between December 9, 2010, July 31, 2024 and April 5, 2025.

The offences committed contravened Sections 233, 223, 27, (1), (a), (b)(ii), of the firearm Act laws of the federation of Nigeria 2004, as amended.

Chief Magistrate Tanimola adjourned the matter to September 4 for receipt legal advice.
