Monday Okpebholo, the Governor of Edo state has commission fleet of luxury buses as it launches the new edo line transportation system.
Governor Monday disclosed this in a social media post on his X account which stated that, “Today, we commissioned the New Edo Line — a major leap toward safe, reliable, and dignified transportation in Edo State.
“It was an honour to be joined by the Honourable Minister of the FCT, His Excellency Nyesom Wike, my leader and former Governor of Edo State, Senator Adams Oshiomhole, and other distinguished dignitaries across the nation.
“The New Edo Line is more than just a fleet of luxury buses, it is a clear signal that Edo is moving forward.
“It addresses the needs of our people — students, traders, workers, and travelers — by restoring safety, order, and pride in public transport.
“I am grateful to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whose unwavering support continues to drive growth and development across Edo through the renewed hope agenda.
We are already seeing results, and I assure him today: Edo will stand with him in 2027.
“Leadership is not about noise. It is about service, discipline, and delivery. In just a few months, we have stayed focused, resisted distractions, and remained committed to changing the lives of our people for good.
