The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has approved the deployment of 186 staff across the country.
Among them are Head of Departments, Electoral Officers and other categories of staff.
According to the statement:
“The Commission met today, deliberated on a number of issues, including the deployment of staff across the country.
The affected staff are either serving in their states of origin or have served for between 10 and 32 years in the same state”.
For an healthy election,INEC officials will no longer be serving in their state of origin.
All redeployed staff are to complete handing on or before Wednesday,9th March,2022.
