Governor Agbu Kefas has called for calmness and cautiousness within the youths in Taraba State ahead of the plan EndBadGovernance protest in August 2024.
Kefas disclosed this on Wednesday during the State Press Conference in Jalingo, I addressed the good citizens of Taraba and some eminent personalities in attendance: top government functionaries, members of the Judiciary, members of the Taraba State Executive Council, traditional rulers and representatives of various Youth groups.
I called for calm and implored them to be cautious of any action that might inflate the already sensitive situations on the ground, as the planned Nationwide Protest is to commence tomorrow, August 1.
In my address, I reminded them that our administration is determined to improve the living conditions of Tarabans, as I highlighted what we have done and other palliative measures in place.
Consequentially, I announced the establishment of the Taraba State Education Trust Fund, which is designed to support all students in Federal Universities, and other tertiary institutions in Taraba State.
