Rose Idibia, mother of Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has pleaded with Nigerians to help her beg Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru, to leave her son alone.
Mrs Idibia, in a viral video on Thursday evening, pleaded with Natasha to free 2Baba amidst a divorce saga with his estranged wife, Annie.
She said, “Good evening, Nigerians. My name is Mrs. Rose Idibia, the mother of 2face. This message is for Miss Natasha Osawaru of Edo State. I’m calling on all mothers in Nigeria to help me beg her to free my son.
“My son is going through a divorce process, and he is clearly not in his right senses now. I know my son well. That is not him.
“Please, Natasha, the beads you put on his hand and on his neck, remove them and free him,” she begged.
It was reported on Thursday that 2Baba proposed to the Edo lawmaker in a viral video shared on social media.
In the video, the singer and the lawmaker were seen dancing together before he presented her with a ring.
This development came just a day after 2Baba publicly confirmed his relationship with Osawaru.
