IGP Kayode Egbetokun, Inspector-General of Nigeria Police, has approved the distribution of new kits and uniforms to police personnel in other ranks across the country.
The approval, it was learnt, was given to reaffirm the IGP’s commitment to improving officers’ welfare and boosting their morale.
ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Force Public Relations Officer, made this known in a statement issued on Saturday.
He said the initiative supported IGP Egbetokun’s vision to enhance improved working conditions and professionalism within the force.
“The IGP expressed optimism that, with the approval of the 2025 budget, more welfare-focused projects will be implemented to further support officers to carry out their duties effectively,” the statement read.
“The Nigeria Police Force remains dedicated to maintaining a well-equipped and motivated workforce for the safety and security of all Nigerians.”
