The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has disbursed the sum of Four Hundred and Nineteen Million Seven Hundred and Twenty-Three Thousand Four Hundred and Forty-Six (419,723,446) as loan to 3,032 students in the Federal University of Lafia, Nasarawa State.
NELFUND disclosed this a terse statement posted alongside a confirmation letter from the university management on its X handle on Friday.
It said, “We @NELFUND are proud announce the successful disbursement of ₦419,723,446 to 3,032 deserving students at the Federal University of Lafia. We are committed to empowering education and brightening futures through this vital support.”
In a letter of confirmation signed by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, the university expressed heartfelt appreciation for the successful disbursement.
The letter, dated 3rd January, 2025, was titled, ‘CONFIRMATION AND COMMENDATION OF DISBURSEMENT UNDER NELFUND’
The VC wrote: “I write to confirm and express our heartfelt appreciation for the successful disbursement of funds to our institution under the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) program.
