Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, Minister of Foreign Affairs, has presented letters of credence to five newly appointed Nigerian envoys.
The new appointees are-
Amb. Olawale Emmanuel Awe as Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to ECOWAS.
Amb. Mairo Musa Abbas as the Consul General, Guangzhou, China
Amb. N.O. Okey-Uche as Nigeria’s Consul General to South Africa
Amb. Ojo Olobode Steve – Consul General to Cameroon and
Amb. Samalia Goni, the Charge D’Affaires, in Tripoli, Libya.
The Foreign Minister charged the newly appointed envoys to be professional in promoting Nigeria’s interests and foreign policy objectives.
