Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) SOROH has discovered numerous sacks containing illegally refined petroleum products around Kasama Jetty, Bayelsa State On Monday 30 September 2024.
Furthermore, NNS SOROH patrol team discovered and impounded 2 wooden boats laden with an unspecified amount of illegally refined AGO in Foropa, Bayelsa State.Additionally, On Tuesday 1 October 2024, NNS SOROH discovered and deactivated 2 militant camps where numerous sacks containing illegally refined petroleum products were hidden around Apoi Creek, Bayelsa State. Lastly, an illegal refining site with a reservoir laden with a large amount of illegally refined petroleum products was discovered and deactivated around Isonogbene general area, Bayelsa State.
