Nnamdi Kanu Has No Genuine Claim About Violation of Rights – High Court

By Ikugbadi Oluwasegun

The court has ruled in favor of the Federal Government, dismissing Nnamdi Kanu’s N1 billion lawsuit.

A federal high court in Abuja has rejected a legal action brought forth by Nnamdi Kanu, who leads the banned Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), against the federal government and Department of State Services (DSS).

In a ruling issued on Monday, Judge James Omotosho stated that Kanu did not present convincing evidence to support his claim that his fundamental rights were violated by the defendants.

Omotosho mentioned that there was no confirmation of the allegations that DSS personnel prevented Kanu from meeting his legal representatives and monitored his discussions with them.
