The Management of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-iwoye,Ogun State had announced resumption date after over 9 months of Academic Staff Union of University,(ASUU) strike.
According to a memo circulated widely and signed on the 28th December by Femi Ogunwomoju emanating from the registrar’s office set January 4th,2021 as resumption date.
The memo further indicated that students will began to receive instructions on how to participate in Virtual class scheduled to start on January 4th,2021 along with time table for the rain semester 2019/2020.
Ogunwomoju further said Students maybe allowed into the University campus from Monday 18th January,2021 if necessary.
Students and Staffs are to adhere strictly to Covid-19 protocols and other informations in the memo.
“The Vice Chancellor,Profsssor G.O Olatunde wishes all students a happy and fruitful 2021”.
It would be recalled that ASUU recently called off the over nine month strike and the President said Each University Governning council will determine date for school reopening and the National university commission.
The National University commission released a statement announcing all schools to remain closed for the next 5 weeks from 12th December,2020 to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
