Police Arrest 2 for Breaking Shop, Stealing in Lagos

The Nigeria Police Force has arrested two men for breaking into a shop and stealing properties in Iju-ishaga area of Lagos State during stop and search.

This was disclosed on Sunday in a social media post by Benjamin Hundeyin, Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, He said, “STOP-AND-SEARCH: At about 6:30am, patrol officers from Oko-Oba Division intercepted 24-year-old Adeyemi Ibrahim and 45-year-old Taiwo Adisa in a mini bus popularly known as Korope, with one generator, one gas cylinder and one Bluetooth speaker.

“Upon questioning, it turned out they just broke into a shop in Iju-Ishaga area and stole the items. Shop owner has been contacted for return of property. Prosecution follows.”
