The Ondo State Police Command has arrested 46 suspected cultists in connection to the recent cult clashes that claimed five lives and left many injured in the state.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Friday by DSP Ayanlade Olayinka, Ondo Police PRO, she said that Wilfred Olutukunbo, Commissioner of Police in Ondo State has deployed five teams, intelligence and operative with other operational assets which led to the arrest of 46 suspected cultists and recovery of arms suspected to have been used in recent attacks.
She said that those arrested will be charged to court upon the completion of investigations
“He urged the citizens to remain calm, law abiding and vowed to restore safety of live and properties to across Ondo State.”
