The Delta state police command has neutralized four suspects who were responsible for the kidnap and murder of a realtor Miss Esther Ojoh.

A statement by Edafe Bright, command spokesperson made available to newsmen, said following the kidnap of a doctor at Issele-Uku and his release after a ransom of fifteen million naira was paid, the Delta police commissioner Olufemi Abaniwonda directed a special assignment team to embark on an intelligence-led investigation which led to the arrest of one Abubakar Usman popularly known as Shehu who is the gang leader and three others who also perpetrated the kidnap and murder of the realtor whose corpse was later discovered at Ibusa.
The four suspects were said to have been killed in a gun duel after the confessional statement by one of the suspects, led operatives to their hideouts where three AK 47 rifles were recovered as well as ninety rounds of live ammunition.
The gang is also said to be involved in the kidnap and killing of Mr. Godwin Anuka at Ogwashi-Uku.
CP Olufemi Abaniwonda, Delta police commissioner commended the gallantry of personnel’s, noting that their braveness is worth emulating.
