President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has departed Owo and arrived in Lagos for a significant series of commissioning events. Among the projects slated for commissioning are the just renovated Third Mainland Bridge and the recently completed Red Line Project.
The commissioning of the first phase of the Lagos Rail Mass Transit (LRMT) red line is scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, February 29th, with President Tinubu expected to officiate the ceremony.
The renovation of the Third Mainland Bridge and the completion of the Red Line Project mark significant milestones in the infrastructure development efforts of Lagos State. The commissioning events are anticipated to be attended by dignitaries and stakeholders from various sectors.
However, the ongoing partial shutdown of the Third Mainland Bridge has resulted in heavy traffic and gridlock for commuters in the affected areas.
Despite the disruptions, anticipation is high for the commissioning events, which are expected to be attended by dignitaries and stakeholders from various sectors.
