Six Governors of the South-West geo-political zone are currently in Lagos State at the Office of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for a crucial meeting, the Sparklight News has learnt.
According to reports, as at 11.30 am on Monday, three out of the six governors have arrived at the Lagos House.
Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State was said to be among the early arrivals.
Other governors expected are Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, Luky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State and Abiodun Oyebanji of Ekiti.
The crux of the meeting could not be ascertained as of press time but it was learnt that it could not be unconnected with the ongoing Minimum Wage conversation between organized Labour union and Federal Government, security situation in the region, among other urgent state matters.
After a close-door meeting, members of the state House Correspondents are expected to be briefed.
