Ogun APC State Caucus to Hold Strategic Meeting in Abeokuta

The Ogun State Caucus of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced plans to convene a strategic meeting aimed at strengthening party unity and reviewing political developments in the state.

The meeting is scheduled to hold on Monday, April 13, 2026, at the APC State Secretariat in Abeokuta.

According to a statement signed by the State Chairman, Yemi Sanusi, the gathering forms part of ongoing efforts to reposition the party and chart a forward-looking agenda ahead of future political engagements.

The meeting is expected to bring together key stakeholders across various levels of the party, including the State Party Chairman, past state chairmen, serving and former deputy chairmen and secretaries, as well as serving and former governors and their deputies.

Also expected at the meeting are current gubernatorial and deputy gubernatorial candidates of the party, serving and former members of the National Assembly, and principal officers of the State House of Assembly.

Other attendees include the Secretary to the State Government, party treasurer, state woman leader, youth leader, leader of persons living with disabilities, and the state legal adviser.

In addition, past speakers and deputy speakers, members of the national and zonal executive committees from the state, national caucus members, and six selected representatives—two from each senatorial district—are expected to be in attendance.

The party urged all invited members and stakeholders to attend promptly, noting that the meeting will play a crucial role in consolidating the party’s structure and addressing key political issues in Ogun State.
