LABOUR, FEDERAL GOVERNMENT STRIKE A COMMON GROUND

Leaders of organized labour led by the NLC President Joe Ajaero has met with the Federal government Intervention Team headed by the Chairman Progressive Governors Forum and Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma

The two parties who met behind closed door yesterday also met in the early hours of today to broker truce around grey areas of disagreement, especially on security, workers welfare and the economy

The Labour leaders announced an end to the nationwide protest and commended the president for the steps taken so far to address the underlying demands of workers

Other members on the FG side are Governors of Kebbi Nasiru Idris, Edo Monday Okpebholo, Kogi Ahmed Usman Ododo and Minister of State Labour and Employment Nkiru Onyejeocha
