EKITI-Oba Boluwade Adebiyi, Alare of Are-Ekiti has received Dr. Oluwatosin Olowojebutu, an indigene of are-Ekiti to his palace on a courtesy visit saying it was indeed an homecoming.
The Kabiyesi was glad and full of joy with his Chiefs to receive Dr. Olowojebutu,a medical doctor, philanthropist and the Chairman, University of Lagos Alumni Association.
Oba Adebiyi stressed the need for continuity in family lineage and appealed to people residing in the city to always remember where they come from.
He said so many factors was responsible for people not coming home adding that there has been so many misconceptions surrounding people going home.
The Monarch while eulogizing the qualities and gestures of Dr. Olowojebutu towards his proposed plan to conduct free surgeries in the town was in the right direction.
Responding to the Kabiyesi, Dr. Oluwatosin Olowojebutu appreciated the Oba for the warm reception saying after visiting 17 states to conduct free surgeries, the time to give back to Are-Ekiti in form of a medical outreach is now.
Mr Segun Adeleke,Vice Chairman of Unilag Alumni appreciated the Oba and the Chiefs in a vote of thanks for being on ground to receive Dr Olowojebutu team as well as numerous words of advice.
