Ondo Dissolves Boards of Parastatals, Commissions as Tenures Expire

The Ondo State Government has announced the dissolution of the boards of some parastatals and commissions following the expiration of their tenure.

Those affected include the Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board, Ondo State Local Government Service Commission, Ondo State Muslim Welfare Board, and the Ondo State Christian Welfare Board.

The government also confirmed that the tenure of Education Secretaries across the 18 Local Government Areas of the state has expired.

In a statement, the Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, directed all affected chairmen, commissioners, board members, and education secretaries to hand over to the most senior administrative officers in their respective offices with immediate effect.

The governor expressed appreciation to the outgoing officials for their service, dedication, and contributions to the development of the state during their tenure.
