The Defence Headquarters has concluded a 16-week Air-to-Ground Combatant Training programme, saying it reflects the Armed Forces of Nigeria’s commitment to operational capability and battle readiness.

According to military authorities, the intensive training equipped participants with advanced combat skills, tactical coordination, precision targeting, and mission planning required for modern warfare and joint operations.
The authorities said the programme is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen personnel capacity to tackle emerging security threats and safeguard Nigeria’s territorial integrity.
The Defence Headquarters assured that the newly trained combatants are fully prepared for deployment and will contribute significantly to ongoing operations aimed at restoring peace and security across the country.
