Vinicius Junior, Real Madrid forward, has ended months of transfer speculation after signing a contract extension that will keep him at the Spanish club until June 30, 2032.

Real Madrid announced the agreement in a statement on Thursday, confirming the Brazilian international’s long-term commitment to the Santiago Bernabéu.

The new deal comes amid widespread speculation over Vinicius’ future, with the 26-year-old linked with a possible move away from the club during the summer transfer window, including reported interest from Premier League champions Arsenal.

Vinicius joined Real Madrid in July 2018 as an 18-year-old and has developed into one of the club’s most influential players.

His previous contract was due to expire in 12 months, fuelling uncertainty over his future before the newly agreed extension.

The renewal secures the winger’s stay in Madrid for another seven years and brings an end to speculation surrounding his next destination.
