Governor Dapo Abiodun, of Ogun State has congratulated Muslim faithful in Ogun State and across Nigeria on the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir, urging them to embrace the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, love and peaceful coexistence.

In his Sallah message, the governor described Eid-el-Kabir as a significant spiritual celebration that teaches humanity the importance of faith, selflessness, tolerance and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah, as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim.
Abiodun called on residents of the state to continue living in peace and harmony regardless of religious or ethnic differences, stressing that unity and mutual understanding remain essential for sustainable development and national progress.
The governor also urged Nigerians to continue supporting the policies and reforms of the Federal Government, expressing confidence that the initiatives being implemented would eventually address the country’s economic challenges and place Nigeria on the path of growth, prosperity and stability.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving the welfare of the people through sustained investments in infrastructure, security, education, healthcare, youth empowerment and economic development under the “Building Our Future Together” agenda.
Abiodun appreciated the support, prayers and cooperation of Ogun residents with his administration and urged them to continue believing in the government’s vision for a more prosperous and inclusive state.
The governor prayed that the blessings of Eid-el-Kabir would bring peace, joy, renewed hope and divine favour to families across the country.
He also wished Muslim faithful a peaceful and memorable Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
