Ogun State Government has announced a reward of fifty (50) million naira for anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the killers of Mr. Taiwo Oyekanmi, late state’s Director of Finance and Administration (DFA).
It was recalled that Mr. Oyekanmi was attacked and murdered on Wednesday, 29th November within the Abeokuta metropolis while on an official assignment.
Governor Dapo Abiodun of the state has vowed to bring the perpetrators behind the killing to justice.
Governor Abiodun, when he paid a condolence visit to the home of the deceased former director on Thursday, added that that his administration would take full responsibility for the welfare and wellbeing of the family Oyekanmi left behind.
In a statement released on Friday, the state government assured that the information on the killers would be treated with utmost confidentiality.
It reads: “Ogun State Government has announced a reward of fifty (50) million naira for anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the killers of the state’s Director of Finance and Administration (DFA), Mr. Taiwo Oyekanmi, on 29th November, 2023 in Abeokuta.
