President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in the United Kingdom for a two-day historic State Visit at the invitation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

The President, accompanied by the First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, landed at London Stansted Airport at about 3:18 p.m. on Tuesday.
He was received on behalf of the Royal Family by Mark Bevan, Deputy Lieutenant of Essex, alongside Nigeria’s acting High Commissioner to the UK, Mohammed Maidugu, and other senior officials.
Also present to welcome the President at his hotel were several Nigerian senators, governors and ministers.
President Tinubu and the First Lady are scheduled to be hosted at Windsor Castle from March 18 to 19 as part of the official programme of the State Visit.
The visit is expected to strengthen bilateral relations between Nigeria and the United Kingdom, with a focus on expanding investment opportunities and deepening economic cooperation between both countries.
