City capitalised on Arsenal’s surprise 2-1 home defeat to Bournemouth a day earlier, moving within six points of the Gunners with a game in hand.
After a sluggish first half that offered little attacking threat, City emerged from the break with renewed intensity. O’Reilly opened the scoring in the 51st minute with a close-range header, before Guehi doubled the lead moments later with a powerful finish following a brilliant assist from Rayan Cherki.
Doku added a third in the 68th minute after capitalising on a defensive error, ensuring a comfortable win for the visitors.
The result sets up a crucial clash between City and Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium on April 19, a fixture that could prove decisive in the title race. A win for City would reduce the gap to just three points.
Guardiola’s side appears to be hitting top form at a critical stage of the season, having recently secured victories in both domestic cup competitions.
