The organisers of annual Young Leaders Entreprenuership Conference,(YOLEC) in collaboration with the Press Club, Elizade University is set to hold the 7th edition of the Young leaders Entrepreneurship Conference on the 7th of July 2023.
This event, which is scheduled to take place at the Faculty of Law Auditorium,Elizade University at 10am is expected to convene successful business owners,government MDAs on Entrepreneurship, academics,Business analysis,Entrepreneurs and the Nigerian youth to discuss the key issues facing Small business in the information and technology era in Nigeria.
The theme of this year’s event is unlocking growth & opportunities in fintech,Web 3.0 & Impact on small scale business through entrepreneurship.
“We are confident that this summit will not just be the usual Entrepreneurship talk-fest, but a truly impactful initiative where young people can learn and chart a course taking advantage if web 3.0,” said Tosin Adesile, the Co-Convener of the Entrepreneurship Summit.
The summit is an annual event that attracts young people with idea and initiatives to empower entrepreneurs, create sustainable jobs and boost economic opportunities by providing access to finance, skills, knowledge and other critical resources.
According to the organisers, the speakers will analyse growth and opportunities in fintech ,Web 3.0 and the opportunities which exist for entrepreneurs, how to get access to finance and investment from entrepreneurs who have made it and succeeded in Nigeria despite the challenges.
Apart from Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa , the Acting Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Jibayo Adeyeye, the founder of Nibanola Motherland,a group of businesses and former Aide to Governor Akeredolu, Professor Olukayode Amund,Vice Chancellor,Elizade University, Hon Summy Smart Francis,Head of Ondo Entrepreneurship Agency and other speakers are billed to speak at the event.
The event is the 7th Edition and has trained over 7,000 Entrepreneurs in Nigeria on various aspect of business growth.
The hybrid event will be streamed live on social media @yolechub for online participants.
