Senator(Dr.)Lanre Tejuosho,the Unilag Pro-Chancellor has advised the Executives of Unilag Lagos Alumni and stakeholders to learn the use of diplomacy to addressing issues.
Tejuosho disclosed this when the executives of Lagos Unilag Alumni led by Dr Oluwatosin Olowojebutu paid him a courtesy visit to celebrate his appointment as the new pro-chancellor.
The Chairman in a congratulatory letter explained that: “we have no doubt that your exposure, influence and charisma will be pulled together to take the University to a more enviable height”.
Thee chairman as well pointed the readiness of the Alumni to support the Pro-Chancellor on the path of greatness for the alma mater.
Dr. Olowojebutu presented a beautiful painting of the new Pro-Chancellor to him on behalf of the executives and entire Lagos Alumni.
Dr Lanre Tejuosho,the Pro-Chancellor, in his response said the Unilag Alumni Lagos branch was the first to Congratulate him while noting that his appointment was truly ordained by God and a home-coming since he had both his elementary education and MBBS at the University of Lagos.
He expressed that after proper briefing,he will hit the ground running where with his background in the University.
“I know where it was and I know where to start from, as a product of the University I cannot afford not to improve what I will be meeting on ground” he said.
Senator Tejuosho advised the Executives of the Unilag Alumni present and other stakeholders on the need to advance the University and avoid causing enmity between leaders while noting that the work ahead is for everyone.
