The Police have gone on manhunt of a bus driver and conductor for assault on officers on duty and violent snatching of guns in Enugu State.
The Enugu State Police Command, accordingly, embarked on a full-scale manhunt for two the driver and conductor of a Mitsubishi L300 commercial bus, who assaulted, attempted to kill the officers, and violently snatched a police officer’s firearm in the assault.
SP Daniel Ndukwe, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), of the Enugu State Command, affirmed that the driver and conductor are wanted for multiple serious offenses, including conspiracy, violent assault, reckless and dangerous driving, attempted murder, and the snatching of a police rifle.
