The umbrella body of past students of the Department of Political Science, University of Lagos has celebrated three outstanding undergraduates and two best graduating students in the Department for the 2023/2024 Academic Session.
This recognition took place during the Grand Conference of the National Association of Political Science Students, University of Lagos (NAPSS-UNILAG) held on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Glass House, Faculty of Education, University of Lagos.
The event featured the presentation of award plaques and cash prizes to the students. The list of awardees include Chukwuebuka Anyibe (student with highest CGPA, 100 level), Adijat Mohammed (student with highest CGPA, 200 level) and Baki Adams (student with highest CGPA, 300 level). The Alumni Association also honoured the two Best Graduating Students from the Department in the 2024 Convocation Ceremony, Yekinni Raji and Aliu Alaruba.
This year’s recognition of excellence among the students is a continuation of the Association’s commitment to impacting on the Department, University of Lagos and the nation at large.
