Hyacinth Alia, Governor of Benue State has appreciated the prompt response by security agencies in the terrorist attack on Ukum Local Government Area.
Terrorists masquerading as herdsmen in the early hours of Sunday invaded and attacked the people of several communities of Mbazun ward in Ukum Local Government Area killing some people and inflicting injuries many others.
A statement by Tersoo Kula, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, consoles those who lost loved ones and the injured, vowing to keep giving necessary support to security agencies to safeguard lives and property in the state
The statement urges security agencies to continue mounting guard in strategic areas across the state to be able to tackle headlong enemies of the state who seem unrelenting.
The Governor further assures the people of the state that his administration will not relent in efforts to protect them.
