HBM Nigeria Plc has declared an interim dividend of N16 per ordinary share for the period ended 30 June 2026, as the company sustains strong earnings growth in the new financial year.

The Board of Directors approved the payout at its meeting on Monday, alongside the Unaudited Financial Statements for the quarter ended 30 June 2026.
According to a corporate disclosure to the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), the interim dividend will be paid on Monday, 17 August 2026 to shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as of close of business on Wednesday, 12 August 2026.
The Register of Shareholders will be closed from Thursday, 13 August 2026 to Friday, 14 August 2026, for the purpose of the dividend payment. The dividend is subject to applicable withholding tax.
The N16 payout represents a significant increase from the N6.00 interim dividend paid in April 2026 and underscores the cement maker’s improved profitability.
HBM Nigeria, formerly Lafarge Africa, had earlier reported strong Q1 2026 results. Revenue rose 35 per cent year-on-year to N334.9 billion for the three months ended 31 March 2026, while profit after tax surged 101 per cent to N97.95 billion.
For the full year 2025, the company posted revenue of over N1.1 trillion and profit after tax of approximately N273 billion, up 173 per cent. Shareholders at the AGM approved a final dividend of N6 per share for 2025, amounting to about N96.65 billion.
HBM Nigeria currently pays dividends semi-annually and has an annual dividend of N12.00 per share with a yield of 3.29% as of 28 July 2026.
The company said the dividend reflects its commitment to rewarding shareholders while maintaining investments in operational efficiency and sustainability across its nationwide operations.
