President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris Malagi, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
In a State House press statement issued on Friday, the President described Idris as an excellent communicator, seasoned public relations executive and accomplished media leader who has brought credibility and professionalism to government communication.
Tinubu noted that the minister has made significant contributions to the media and public relations industry, particularly as founder and publisher of Blueprint Newspapers, as well as chairman of a successful public relations consultancy and broadcast outfit.
The President also highlighted Idris’ past role as General Secretary of the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association of Nigeria, where he distinguished himself as a committed patriot and partner in national development.
He commended the minister’s diligence and dedication in communicating the policies and programmes of the administration, noting his consistent efforts in promoting the government’s Renewed Hope agenda across the country.
“As he celebrates this milestone, I join his family and friends in wishing him many more years of good health and strength in service to the nation,” the President stated.
