Men sandal has often been labeled as a faux pass in recent years, widely dismissed, labeled as feminine and un-stylish by many. But during the summer, getting a sandal should be considered because it offers comfort and can be a go-to accessory on those days when you don’t seem to know what to wear.
Most footwear do not accommodate for the lumps and bumps which causes blisters on top of toes and at the back of the heel. People with irregular feet often get hammer toes when wearing covered shoes, a painful foot problem associated with wearing closed shoes for long. The man sandal aka the ‘mandal’ is an extremely light footwear and an excellent substitute for shoes during the summer. More appropriate than flip flops and more comfortable than boat shoes, the sandal is one for all occasions. Sandals aren’t new to the fashion scene, they’ve been in fashion for a very long time but as time passed, it has evolved taking up different styles and designs.
Today, there are different types of sandals to choose from to complement any outfit. Popular models like Gladiators, Birkenstock, flip flops, sport sandals and so on. All of which offer different functionality depending on the occasion worn to. Ranging from casual to formal, simple to flats and highs, many are acceptable to be worn in more formal settings such as offices or weddings.
However in as much as the sandal offers comfort, it exposes the feet. Thus the need to keep you feet tidy and good looking unless you want people to grimace at the sight of your feet. A good pedicure will should be just enough to pull off the sandal look perfectly.
