The Rivers State Police Command has expressed condolences to the family of three children who reportedly died in a tragic incident in the state, assuring the public that a thorough investigation has commenced.

In a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Agabe Blessing Kaborlo, the Commissioner of Police, Olugbenga Adepoju, described the incident as deeply saddening and extended heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family.
“The Commissioner of Police extends his heartfelt condolences and profound sympathy to the bereaved family during this difficult and painful period,” the statement said.
Adepoju also prayed for strength and fortitude for the family to cope with the loss.
The Command assured the affected family and residents that investigators had already commenced a detailed probe into the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
According to the statement, the police are committed to ensuring that justice is served and that anyone found culpable is brought to book in line with the law.
“The Command remains committed to uncovering the circumstances surrounding any incident and ensuring that anyone found culpable is brought to justice,” the statement added.
The police also appealed to members of the public to remain calm, avoid spreading unverified information, and cooperate with investigators as inquiries continue.
