The lawmaker representing Khana, Gokana Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Robinson Dekor, has requested Ogoni lawyers to use their profession to promote development in Ogoni land and lead the fight against cultism and drug abuse.
Dekor, receiving members of the 2025 Ogoni Bar Aspirants in Abuja, told the new lawyers to contribute to community development through legal advocacy, mentorship, and public service.
He called on them to help tackle rising cases of cultism and drug abuse and remain in Nigeria to support national development.
The National Coordinator of the 2025 Ogoni Bar Aspirants, Bar Gawuga Baala, commended Dekor’s commitment to Ogoni development and appealed for sustained investment in infrastructure, jobs and programmes to improve the people’s well-being.
