The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Anambra State Sector Command, has recovered a double-barrel gun from a road traffic crash scene along the Awka–Enugu Expressway.

This was disclosed In a statement signed by Osondu Ohaeri, Corps Public Education Officer, the firearm was recovered at the scene of the incident by the FRSC Rescue Patrol Team while carrying out a routine inventory of victims’ belongings after concluding rescue operations.
The Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed said while the Corps remains primarily committed to preventing road traffic crashes, rescuing crash victims and ensuring safer highways, its personnel also serve as critical first responders whose alertness had on several occasions led to the recovery of stolen vehicles, dangerous weapons and other exhibits of security importance.
