Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has joined family members, friends, associates and business leaders to celebrate the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Okitipupa Oil Palm Plc, Mr. Taiwo Adewole, on his 60th birthday.
The celebration, which held on Saturday in Lagos, brought together prominent personalities who extolled Adewole’s leadership qualities, professional accomplishments and contributions to the development of the agro-allied sector.
The governor, in a goodwill message delivered by his deputy, Dr. Olayide Adelami, described Adewole as a seasoned administrator and corporate leader whose career had been defined by vision, diligence, innovation and commitment to excellence.
Aiyedatiwa particularly commended Adewole for his efforts in repositioning Okitipupa Oil Palm Plc, noting that his leadership had contributed significantly to the revitalisation of the company and strengthened its position in the agricultural and agro-industrial landscape of Ondo State and Nigeria.
According to him, “the introduction of modern technology and high-tech industrial mills, improved relationships with host communities and restoration of stakeholders’ confidence were among the achievements recorded under Adewole’s leadership”
He said the accomplishments went beyond corporate milestones, describing them as meaningful contributions to the economic development of the state, particularly at a time when his administration was prioritising agricultural development, food security, industrialisation, economic diversification and job creation.
Also speaking at the occasion, the Chairman of the event, Chief Olusegun Osunkeye, described Adewole as a unique individual distinguished by outstanding character and commendable leadership qualities.
Chief Osunkeye praised the celebrant for his performance as the Chief Executive Officer of Okitipupa Oil Palm Plc, noting that Adewole had demonstrated capacity and competence in steering the company towards greater growth and development.
Dr Tosin Adesile in his goodwill message praised Mr Adewole for being a true inspiration to many and a kind hearted man.
He praised him for his mentorship to many young ones particularly, his partnership with Yolechub, an entrepreneurship hub helping the young ones
The guest preacher, Pastor Johnson Kalejaiye, in his sermon, charged the celebrant and guests to embrace selflessness and dedicate their lives to making positive impact on humanity.
Pastor Kalejaiye stressed the importance of living a life that would leave lasting value in society, urging individuals to use their positions, resources and opportunities to uplift others and contribute meaningfully to the development of their communities.
The birthday celebration provided an opportunity for family members, friends, colleagues and associates of Mr Adewole to reflect on his six decades of life and celebrate his contributions to business, agriculture and human development.
